Job Purpose
To maintain the efficiency of carpentry workshop by control of building materials and civil hand tools at tool store. Also, they should have an ability to read sketches, use of all carpentry hand tools, basic woodworking operations like sawing, joiner, planning, sanding and interpret.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare maintenance schedule for carpentry workshop
Maintain the register book for civil hand tools
Maintain the register books for timbers and other building materials
Supervising maintenance workers- carpenters and sign writers at workshop
Report writing on weekly performance of the workshop
Repair of all wooden furniture and items
Supervising the cleanliness of workshop and advise on disposing of scrapped building materials
To encourage and strengthen innovation on sign writing techniques and technology
To maintain standard operation procedures throughout the work schedules

Job Qualification and Experience

Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience
Attentive to details.
Results oriented

Terms of Service: The successful candidate will be engaged on a Permanent Contract.
