Job Purpose
To maintain, service and repair electrical equipment and solve electrical issues in all company buildings as per agreed set standards.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures that all operations are carried out as per the ISO 9001: 2000 Quality Management System to achieve the quality standards.
- Repairs electrical breakdowns including major breakdowns.
- Maintains a clean working environment with proper housekeeping.
- Carries out domestic electrical maintenance and repairs according to agreed work standards.
- Control requisitions for spares and discuss with Electrical Foreman.
- Co-operate with management to enable them to perform their duties under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Abides to safety requirements and standards.
- Perform all tasks with “awareness” towards the prevention of any forms of pollution to the surrounding and environment.
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in electrical environment
- Extensive knowledge in electrical fault tracing and troubleshooting electrical system, running behaviour, safety and lock out procedures.
