Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain the house keeping at all times during the shift.
- Operation monitoring-Frequently check/watching gauges, dials or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
- Operation and Control-Controling operations of equipment or systeam
- Trouble shooting-Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
- Complex problem solving-Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solution.
- Repairing-Repairing machines or systems using the need tools.
- Equipment selection-Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
- Systems analyisis-Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations,and the environment will affect outcomes.
- Equipment maintenance-Performing routine maintenance on equipment determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed
- Reading Comprehension-Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
- Form IV with vocational training in fitter mechanics or Electrical from a recognized institution.
- A proven experience on working with turbines at manufacturing industries is added advantage.
- Basic computer skills, particularly in data entry and using inventory or supply management systems.
- 2+ years' experience working on the sugar industries
- Good communication skills
