Job Purpose:
To ensure the accuracy and good housekeeping in sampling station which will give the correct analysis result to help the customers making the right decision in the process.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Laboratory sampler is to ensure proper sample taking as per guidance procedure of sampling and cleaning of sampling bottles and other equipment’s before taking of sample as per sampling procedure.
Sample collector must take all samples on time for boiler water and condensate.
Sample collector must update all VM boards hourly as per sample analysis results.
Sample collector must report all deviation around his/her working area, must ensure sampling point are in good condition.
Sample collector must take all necessary precaution by protecting himself/herself when collecting samples.
If you are involved in any incident that may affect your health or which has caused an injury to you, or impacted on the environment, report such incident to your superior not later than the end of the shift during which the incident occurred.
Perform all tasks with “awareness” towards the prevention of any forms of pollution to the surrounding and environment.
The Laboratory sample collector needs to ensure a proper handing over at the end of his/her shift.

Job requirements:
•        Form IV or VI certificate.
•        Experience in sugar laboratory procedures will be an added advantage
•        Strong to work down and upstairs, ability to stand for 8 hours.
•        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•        Willingness to learn, improve and adapt to changing requirements

Terms of service: The successful candidate will be engaged on permanent contract.
