Job Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible to carry out maintenance on turbine equipment (back pressure & condensing TA), pumps, Diesel, Generator and factory utilities ie; Compressed air, Fire system and water reticulation equipment.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver agreed equipment calibration plan
- Carry out agreed monitoring, sampling & analysis routines to identify & escalate non-conformances in a timely manner.
- Ensures the TA together with factory utilities availability is always at maximum to meet operational demand.
- Close relationship and communication with operation team to enable timely troubleshooting of equipment breakdown.
- Clear communication with other maintenance partner (maintenance planner, CBM, instrument, electrical and operational) personnel to ensure maximum plant availability.
- Plan and implement preventive maintenance as per SOP and the maintenance strategy.
- Adhere to maintenance best practices as per Illovo IAMP practices.
- Proper control of maintenance tools.
- Adhere to Abf's safety standards.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 2years of experience in maintenance of high-speed machines
- Experience in a sugar factory, water reticulation, fire system and compressed air will be an added advantage.
